Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)

Products with a crossed-out wheelie are subject to European Directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE).  

This symbol indicates that the products and related peripherals and cables  should not be disposed of as municipal waste. Instead of this they should be disposed of separately in order to allow proper treatment, recovery and recycling.
